What’s not to romanticize about a downtown Los Angeles wedding? We mean, you get the picturesque skyline, the coffee shop on every corner, the smell of mouth-watering food, and the chill California vibes you can feel through photographs.
Blake and Cameron’s downtown Los Angeles wedding was both chic and youthful! It was undoubtedly a perfect reflection of this couple’s fiery and playful connection.

The Start of Their Los Angeles Wedding
To kick the day off, Blake and Cameron got ready at the Culver City Luxury Hotel. The Culver Hotel is highly photogenic and its staff is always so sweet and accommodating. It is one of those iconic locations in the city to snap a pic at.
I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone looking in the DTLA area!
The Stunning Details of Their Downtown LA Wedding
Blake’s dress was one of the sexiest dresses I’ve ever seen on a bride, with beautiful, minimal silk details and a stunning high slit. This was one of the many details that made Blake and Cameron’s day a wonderful showcase of their personalities.
It’s a dress you have to see…and you can!
A few other outstanding details included the flower girl’s Alice in Wonderland-inspired look and the couple’s dog featured on Cameron’s cufflinks. Unique details like this always make it special for me to capture a couple’s wedding.
After capturing a few of those details we closed out our time at the luxurious Culver Hotel with their first look in the speakeasy lounge. The arched window and other urban-industrial accents in the speakeasy made for a backdrop that was downright cinematic. We love to see it!
And the Rest was History at Their Los Angeles Wedding
The remainder of their day took place at The Smogshoppe located in downtown Los Angeles’s Art District. It’s a gorgeous indoor/outdoor, 100% solar-powered, wedding venue with 6,500 sq foot space for your guests to get down!
Blake and Cameron’s ceremony was short and sweet. The greenery at The Smogshoppe set a very cheerful tone for group and family photos. I love when venues have a lot of vegetation because it makes for AMAZING portraits.
Their reception was up next! It was nothing short of eclectic, creative, and tons of fun. A romantic overhead floral installation was one of many details that made the atmosphere cozy and warm for everyone.
Fun props like LED foam party sticks and heart-shaped sunglasses were found amidst the crowd. Because no wedding is complete without fun props!
There was even a projector playing Blake and Cameron’s favorite movie scenes and a Star Wars-themed dessert table. The sweet treats were out of this GALAXY.
We had so much fun discovering the next thing around the corner on this special day, and we’re so glad we got to cherish it with Blake and Cameron, and all their loved ones!
